GROUP ASSIGNMENT

Ini ialah tugasan berkumpulan yang diberikan kepada kami. Tugas yang diberikan ialah kami dikehendaki untuk mencipta layout bagi FTMM website dengan ada nya logo FTMM, banner/header, menu bar, icon/button, content area dan footer. Kami juga perlu mereka bentuk logo FTMM, banner/header dan menu bar. Berikut adalah langkah-langkah sebelu terhasilnya website ini:

Logo FTMM:

-          Setkan background dengan menggunakan gradient yang terdapat di tool box

-          Cari gambar computer

-          Klik pada menu bar file > open > gambar computer yang telah dicari

-          Klik pada gambar dan klik di tool box > magic wand tool

-          Select pada bahagian yang tidak diingini > delete

-          Klik pada tool box > text tool > jenis tulisan-orcstd > saiz tulisan-14 pt

-          Tuliskan tulisan FTMM.

Banner/header :

-          Setkan background dengan menggunakan gradient yang terdapat di tool box

-          Klik pada tool box > brush > cari brush yang diingini

-          Klik pada tool box >text tool > jenis tulisan-imprint mt shadow > saiz tulisan-40 pt > style-striped cone untuk Faculty of Information

-          Klik pada tool box > text tool > jenis tulisan-imprint mt shadow > saiz tulisan-60 pt > style-striped cone untuk AND MULTIMEDIA

-          Klik pada tool box > text tool > jenis tulisan-iskoola pota > saiz tulisan-18 pt > style-1 px stroke 100% fill opacity

-          Klik pada tool box > text tool > jenis tulisan-kalinga > saiz tulisan- 14 pt > style-striped cone

-          Klik pada tool box > text tool > jenis tulisan-kalinga > saiz tulisan -11 pt > style-basic drop shadow

Menu bar & icon/buttons :

-          Klik file > new

-          Setkan (width=500,height=600)

-          Klik pada tool box > custom shape tool > pilih shape yang diingini

-          Klik pada tool box > brush > pilih yang sesuai

Footer :

-          Klik file > new

-          Setkan (width=80,height=20)

-          Setkan background dengan menggunakan gradient yang terdapat di tool box

-          Masukkan logo FTMM di layer tersebut

-          Kurangkan opacity logo kepada 50%

-          Klik pada tool box > text tool > jenis tulisan-orcstd > saiz tulisan-12 pt

AUTHORING

What is authoring?
- The process of combining materials such as video, graphics, sound, animation, documents and files into a format suitable for viewing on the appropriate device.

Types of authoring tools?
- card or page based authoring tools > the elements are organized as pages of a book/a stack of cards.
- icon based or event driven tools > multimedia elements and interaction cues(events) are organized as objects in a structural framework/process.
- time based tools > elements and events are organized along a time line with resolutions as high as or higher than 1/30 second.

Hardware and software for authoring tools?

Hardware:
- computer > is a programmable machine that receive input, stores and manipulates data, and provides output in a useful format.
- keyboard > is an input device, partially modeled after the typewriter keyboard, which uses an arrangement of buttons or keys, to act as mechanical levers or electronic switches.

Software:
- macromedia flash > a multimedia platform that is popular for adding animation and interactivity to web pages.
- macromedia director > it allows users to build applications built in a movie metaphor and creating an animation.
